Delete Your Account

You can delete your Lumer account and its data at any time, either in the app or by contacting us.

In the Lumer app

1. Open Lumer and go to Profile.
2. Tap Delete My Account.
3. Confirm that you want to delete your account.

Without the app

Email privacy@lumer.ai from the email address you use to sign in to Lumer, with the subject "Delete my Lumer account". To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm the request before deleting anything.

What gets deleted

Your account, settings, chat history, uploaded files, Lumer's memory of you, your activity record, records of emails Lumer sent, your registered devices, and your feedback. Deletion is usually complete within minutes. If a technical problem delays it, we will finish within 30 days.

What we keep

• A one-way hash of your email address and an internal ID, kept indefinitely, to record that your account was deleted and to prevent reuse of free trials.
• Records of App Store or Google Play purchase transactions, kept for up to 7 years for accounting, tax, refund, and fraud-prevention purposes.
• Copies in encrypted backups (erased within 35 days) and server logs (erased within 90 days).

Before you go

• Subscriptions: Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
• Microsoft accounts: We revoke Lumer's Google access automatically. Microsoft does not let apps revoke their own access, so please also remove Lumer at account.live.com/consent/Manage (personal accounts) or myapps.microsoft.com (work or school accounts).
• Items in your accounts: Events, tasks, calendars, labels, and emails that Lumer created in your Google or Microsoft account stay there unless you remove them.
